I started digital painting using Krita and Rebelle in early 2025. It was my first attempt at digital painting after not having painted traditionally since my early college days! I had no idea what I was getting into, and it showed in my work!
This was the starting point of my digital painting journey in March 2025! As you can see, my skills were at an extremely basic level. I admit I had a hard time evening posting any of my work because of how poor the quality was.
Look at the glow up! By November 2025, was able to properly paint a full landscape with mountains, trees, and more! This is the result of endless practice and having the tools to be able to properly recreate organic shapes in a digital space! And soon, you'll be able to do the same!
Instructor Andria recreates seven Bob Ross landscape paintings in the digital painting program Rebelle 8. Each lesson is divided with a focus on the different elements of each painting, from the sky and mountains above, to the grassy plains below. Additionally, the full uncut painting process is included at the end of each lesson.
